have you over adjusted the trigger, so the micro switch is still depressed?

Screw out the middle screw on the trigger, what does it do when you turn it on?

Take the trigger out and see if you can activate the micro switch with a allen key, if it still works then one of the screws is out too far.

if its still not working, check cables are seated correct

Sounds as though the microswitch activation screw is either too far in or too far out as J@mes is saying. I've never had a shocker before. If you leave the grips off can you see inside the grip frame to check whether the screw is hitting the microswitch?

Make sure that the microswitch isn't falling forward. Try holding the trigger guard as if you were shooting the roof and put the trigger in.

Also could the eye ribbon be getting in the way?

as they have said it is probably the grub switch adjustments.
the same happend with my ion, i adjusted the middle grub screw to far and it activated the switch so obviously it didnt work so all i did was unscrew that grub screw a little and it was all good.

good luck with it.
