University Paintball Teams?

Hey, I'm due to start uni in September , not sure where yet, either Manchester or Hull Medical School, but I was just wondering if there's like a university paintball ladder or tournament? Or if there are any uni's that have thier own teams?

Anyone who has any info on this would be a huge help to me.

You're in luck my friend! Check out the University Paintball League forum at http://universitypaintball.phpbb3now.com for some info and contacts. I haven't played Manchester or Hull at the UPL events, but that doesn't mean they don't have a team.

im just wondering where can i find details about the upl i had a looksy at the forum but cant find any useful info and google failed me aswell!!!! just want to know how many players i will be needing? where the games are etc etc so then i can start making plans for next year

for the last two years the format has been an Xball rotation over 4 weekends running from september to march.

The format is a 5man centre flag xball with a maximum potential of a 15person roster.

Most of the events are snetterton. however we have played at the NSPA in Darlington...(though I dont think we will be going back there in a hurry. ) and D7 south.

You got questions. Devrj is your man. alternativley KITTY!!!! me..or anyone else who looks deviant or supicious.

Yeah sorry about that, we recently changed forum domains and most of the threads that might've asked or answered the standard questions were lost in the process. I'll have a chat with miss kitten and see about getting a formal "prospective university FAQ" forum/thread organised with all the relevant info. Like Whitey said, hop on the forum or contact us on here if there's anything you want to know The Uni league is serious value for money and we're always after more Unis to participate in it.
