I love my proflex but they definately do NOT offer good ear protection. Half your ear is completely exposed with them.

Changed my mind again mate, im keeping em cos they look pimp and im hard so ill jus grit my teeth if one of those unlucky shots get me in the neck.
ahh get some vents they only cover the eyes.Yep, I got shot in the ear while wearing JTs. Was ringing for days...

OK on a more serious note.
I3's i think are very comfy and feel very secure and provide slightly more protection.
Worse thing is cleaning them
E-vents I think are also very comfy, you can strip the entire mask in about 30 seconds, which is very good for cleaning between games.
The only downside is i don't think they feel quite as secure as i3s and provide slightly less protection.

Its a good decision
But them neck shots can be an absolute.....
Ive found that because of how flexible they are Ive been hit in the head(part near mouth) 2 or 3 times and because of the angle it bounced:eek
I find that they give you a very good field of vision as well
