Hi guys,

Just got back from my 1st club walk-on at Cosford, all gd fun apart from the last field where i had to spend the majority of it trying to get my marker to work. I'd changed the battery about an hour before and shot a few rounds off in the target range but once the game started i had nothing, but noticed the reg on the marker had shot round to well above 300psi. Just been trying to get it running the past hour or so, i'v turned the reg right down, then screw in the bottle, then slowly open the valve on the epiphany but its still shooting straight round to above 300. But if i go one more turn with the reg bolt it startes leaking air out the front grip.

Pls help cuz im still learning not just about the marker but paintball in general and have no idea what could be wrong:confused:

Cheers

Don't get cross if I'm wrong, but are you sure you're turning the reg adjuster the right way? The last time I saw an SP gun doing exactly this the chap was turning the reg up instead of down so when he 'turned it all the way down' it was maxed out. If it's not that then is sounds like a seal has gone in the reg and is allowing it to supply too much pressure, so strip and rebuild the reg if you feel happy doing that or it's off to Warped you go:)

Cheers for the info guys, think i'v gotten to the bottom of the issue. I stripped the reg on the marker tuesday night and found the the friction seal that sits between the reg and the outer sleeve was damaged, and that only half the seal was remaining. This in turn was allowing the reg to turn itself up as the grip was loose coming undone and but increasing the psi as it turned, then i was trying to tighten up the handle but not noticing that the psi also hadnt been corected. The seal has now been replaced along with the o-ring on top of the asa incase it was damaged on the thread as it worked itself loose and everything all gd.
