Well!!! First of all, where've you been Robbo, we miss you?!!

However...

I think issue 229 may well come in useful for you as I have just completed that month's article and it's gonna prove extremely useful for any hot blooded male trying to cope with his partner's protestations about us guys playing paintball ...... some people might well accuse me of being sexist after they have read it and I will answer them ...'Damn right I am .... it's a man's world gal, live with it' :)

Lump will love it, Lemon however? .....hmmmm.... well ...... we shall see, if she don't like it, she'll have to Lump it :)
Now don't make me go all 'Brett the Hitman Heart' and lay the smack down on yer ass....

gonad gaffe - yes, paintball does grab you by something, in my case I'm not quite sure what, but somewhere deep inside, paintball and I made a connection I can only assume a mother has for her child! We will never be parted!

Shopaholic - well, I'll give you the throwing a ball, and the directions but my wardrobe is pretty empty, my shoes are mainly cleats and football boots, I'm often the first one to the fifty and when I cry, it's usually because I can't afford to go paintball!

It's in the blood - men are more aggressive... except when compared to women with PMT! And I may be wrong but aren't there more female serial killers?

From the womb - I guess I must have more testosterone than Ryan Greenspan!!! Actually, that might be true... And I think I have said this before about the fight or flight, have you ever seen a mother protecting her cubs? She has no option but to fight as she would never take off and leave her young unprotected ;)

Adrenaline shot - I did martial arts and skiing from the age of 6 and for most of my adolescence (omg that was so long ago!) so I must be that type of person, but this is not restricted to just men you know :p

and finally...

Biological destiny - this, I agree with! Although I am a wife that does understand my mans needs to 'live' the paintball life, for obvious reasons, I do think wives and girlfriends need to chill out, join in or just let go and find a boring man to go out with :D

So, in conclusion, I may not be your average female, but you're not exactly the average male sweetie ;) this may be a male dominated sport but you need to 'back off a little' and 'get over it' women play paintball!! :p;):D

Was going to run, but as you're not about any more to catch me, I'm staying right here, hehehe.

Loves ya, misses ya xxx

Lemon he wouldn't be able to catch you honey!!!

Pete, I haven't read your article yet so I cannot give a comment on it, but from what Lemon has written about it, I must say "BOO HISS BOO" :(

PGI, the article may be in jest? but us girl ballers have heard it before, its the same cliche over, and over again.

Cliche meaning "a trite, stereotyped expression; a sentence or phrase, usually expressing a popular or common thought or idea, that has lost originality, ingenuity, and impact by long overuse"

Bored now! "Our place is in the kitchen!" - Whatever with a capital 'W'. Obviously there is nothing else to write about these days. I personally don't read Robbo's stuff on this subject anymore and I won't this time, simply because i believe he is wrong in his opinion. Do all you male ballers out there think the same way he does???

I really hope not, unless you are a chauvinist of coarse ;)

Shelley - sticking up for girls!!!

Lol, hiya hun :) It's a good article, I think it was just a rant to let off some steam (testosterone) that has built up from not being around paintball for so long...ironic huh?! ;)

Do I agree that paintball is a sport dominated by men because women don't have the necessary aggression build into them to play it at a competitive level..

Yeh .

Do I think women should be tied to the sink ?..eh no ,who would I pull when my wife is looking after the kids of a Friday night ?

Am I a chauvinist ?

I believe that women have been going on about equality for so long, that they see the fact that men now treat them with the same disdain that they treat other males as chauvinistic ...

Fcuk, a hat-trick and no offside.

I'll explain that rule later luv.

Hmmm... if I remember rightly, I played all 4 matches and you could only manage to play 3 at the last x-ball event because you were tired and cold and wanted your mummy...

Of course, if that's not how you saw it, we could always take a visit to Dan Randons site to see from the photos who played more aggresively, you or me ;):p

I don't dispute that for 1 second..

However I had used up my quota of agression fighting off hordes of adoring Grantham birds the night before ...

And I'd hardly call div 2 of the masters competitive :p.

Fair enough girly, just backing you up, its a lonely world out there for us in the world of paintball but we still choose to play it. :D
But my lttle stab at this thread is this ... that attitude is why the girls who lack the girly stereotype don't get into paintball. Its quite frustrating. Guy ballers should embrace the sport by getting girls involved by encouraging the fact we can play, not the other way around, its NOT being a good ambassador of the game.

Dskize, if you want me to reply to that, I have an Arsenal season ticket and play football ;) LUV.
How many players did you shoot today?
