Get one of those portable pumps /charger units (the yellow one) it has a cig charger on them...Maplin's only £20.00...Saves on fuel + multi function..4-6 hours via car charger - guess you'll be driving around the block for a while

Yes as DS has so elequently said, the battery may not hold a charge as it's at least 5 years old, and rechargables don't normally last that long.

Give your angel a whole new lease of life. Speak to Mr T Allen there, and ask about the spitfire mod.
lose the internal battery, and go with 9v. It will be like a whole new marker.
