Just thought I would get some feedback on my newest project.

ThisISPaintball is a website which will feature the most current up-to-date news, reviews and of course gossip for the international paintball community.

This is the initial version of the website but there will be changes coming quickly as time progresses. The site will run advertisement free aside from posts that include products, teams, events and reviews.

Feel free to rip the site apart as there has only been maybe 2 hours of work put into it so far but there are large plans for this site.

This is a Canadian based coverage of paintball as most posts are related to the Canadian paintball scene from Canadian players.

We all know that PGI does a great job at what they do, why else would we be in these forums.

Looks cool, but the website is a bit all over the place.

Cool just some web-design tips though:

*Have a smaller/higher logo - people don't like having to scroll to read the main content.
*If possible divide the site into different pages, it gets a bit tedious having such a massively long front page.
*Move the ads to some place else. At the moment they are in the place where the menu/links are on the majority of websites so people will be looking there expecting to see the menu and possibly get confused.

Some things I noticed, and would change if it were me doing the design:

Logo and red banner need to be about 1/3 of the height they are at now and logo/image needs a redesign.

Fonts seem to be random, lack of consistency.

Page space could be utilzed better, lots of gaps, and random bits jutting out from it, try drafting some designs on a single sheet of paper.

Yeah Mark and I have played for the last 3 years together on teams. I am not sure if you were with the group of UK marshals in the parking lot by the NXL field at World Cup this year talking with Mark.

The layout is only a initial layout to get content up and exposed and the style will be changed hopefully soon as I get time away from work to get the changes made.
