. can i JUST use polycarbonate paint in side the shell its clear.
. or do i need to do anything before or after it?

1>strip your hopper so you just have the bits you want to paint.
2>put a weak solution of washing up liquid/water in your sink and wash the insides thoroughly.
3>rinse with warm water
4>allow to air dry or do it gently with a hair dryer
5>spray light coats of polycarbonate paint inside until your happy with look (allow a couple of minutes between coats)
6>don't touch for 12 hours
7>rebuild your hopper
8>go play
9>job done
This can be done quite easily but it'll be a time consuming bitch!
You'll need to make a stencil to go inside your hopper out of a self adhesive masking sheet but you'll need to cut out the black parts of the design.....tricky
Then stick sheet inside your hopper and spray the exposed sections black. Once it's dry, remove the stencil and spray over everything in white.
BishBoshBamm job done!

Or you could cut out a photo of the design. delicately cut out the black section, stick it inside your hopper and then back spray the white?

i've done it,
i sprayed it today and i messed it up. but then i sprayed it from the outside and it looks ace with purple. but what other colours you think will go with ti?
