hello,
i know a few people here have painted their vl evolution hoppers.
im thinking of doing this too.
so if you have done this can you please put up pics , the paints you used and how you did it.

i knew sumone who sparyed theirs with car spray paint then laquered it seem to work pretty well

plasti-dips works on masks tho so probs hoppers aswell

This will work with no problems, tried a test run on some raceways a while back & the paint is still on...

Spray with plastic primer.
Sand with about 300grit.
Spray with plastic primer.
Sand with about 600grit.
Spray main coat.
Sand with about 600grit.
Spray main coat.
Sand with about 800grit.
Continue getting higher until you're happy with roughness.
Spray with clear laquer for shiny effect. Leave for matt effect.

it think it was spangley special and it wasnt an egg but it was chequered i will try and find the thread

You wont need to do all that with clear shells, as the work would be done on the inside...
