Does anyone in the UK have a CNC or similar and feel up to trying some custom milling? Tom Allan etc?

If so any chance of a quick word.

In addition anyone know the pros and cons of having a gun custom milled, whats the chances of buggering it up?

hey, I work for a precision engineering company we have many HAAS mills and lathes CNC and manual and we're all pro :D we can make more or less anything, or adapt anything you want :)

Also with the messing up side, as long as u can produce a drawing with all the measurements and stuff you want we can create it with tolerances of 0.1mm and under accurately. And we always work to a high quality machine finish.

I'm currently trying to find out tolerences and acctualy get my net to work so I can pay for the damn thing.

haha well, obviously you suit the tolerances to the job, for stuff like the moving parts and mechanics of the guns you would want a tolerance of about +0.015 -0.15
for like a marker frame you would be ok with a +0.1 -0.1 tolerance sorta thing. For drawings a Cad drawing would be a lot more easier to read then a hand drawing but even a peice of paper with a rough ish diagram can be worked from as long as all the dimentions are marked, but yeh we're not a load of Jedi's so i doubt it would come out to well if we all used the force :D
