its all about the way the boddies are machined. the sl8r undergoes a different process to get the sculpture of the body than the 08 thus creating less/no failure rate when annoing the boddies white/light silver

The White Ego8's had a very high fail rate which is why we decided to stop doing them and continue with the other colour schemes. If markers aren't perfect, we won't let them out the door, so this obviously caused issues.
The reason the SL8R's come in white is simple, if you're buyin a limited edition marker, at a limited edition price range, you deserve to have something special, and white is a special colour
