Going back to the F1/ Rallying comparison which has the more skill ?

F1 ? The cars are more powerfull, run on an articficial enviroment .

Rallying ? The cars are more robust and run on natural terrain.

neither has more skill, both require different things from the drivers. The same is true for woodsball. There is less to hide behind, unless we are all stick men then a tree aint gonna hide us. The bunkers have more gaps in so its a requirement issue not a skill.

Agreed, they are different formats etc but there not in the same category as say NETBALL
(sorry...missus is a netball player...chuffin hate it!)

Be it woods or air, its all good and i'm sure if most 'airballers' had the choice of playing table tennis or woodsball you would take woodsball any day
Likewise, if the woodsballers out there had to choose between playing billiards or sup air ball i'm sure you would choose the latter.

No point in arguing about it.....your either a baller or not (thats rec/woods/walk on/tourney/wannabee or whatever)

See.. try taking an F1 car into the woods... he he.. but a rally car can still run on a track.. IMO anyone who dismisses the wood MUST be rubbish at paintball.... LoL.. your all so funny. You would think Horlicks said all Supair player have small cocks... hmmm... maybe they do...

Box I would love to play to take the Teabags down for a game against you in the woods as with all Universal teams we play woodball fast. Only problem is it is a little bit to far to travel from Newcastle. Although Universal did play at Holmbush in November and won our league.

Horlicks as someone who plays Woodball and also trys to play air ball I think you have opened your mouth and not thought about what your saying.

As much as I love woods I am not going to come on here and slate Airball and it's players. I see some amazing players on an airball field and I see some great players in the woods. I also see some players doing both extremely well !!

Let there be wood tourny's all over Uk and let there be air all over the Uk and let people make their own minds up on what they want to play. Until people get it into their thick heads that any type of paintball should be appreciated from both sides, we can not progress. Play what you enjoy and just because the other may not be your liking don't slate it.

Hmm... maybe we will come up t'noth lad and show you a thing or two with our new 5 man squad.. what team were you at Holmbush?? not team5 who won the day i hope.. .. not much playing on or wiping going on with them me thinks..

F1 and Rallying are both classed as 'Motor Sport'. So Woods and Supair are both Paintball. Both have their merits and in the case of motor Sport the cars are high tech but built differently . Paintball could be the same.

Supair = F1
Woods = Rallying

The real case for Woodland tournaments is that most players graduate to taking up paintball from punter days. Once they do, it's straight to supair (F1) which is a hell of a leap. So there is a gap in the market.

The problem is talking a site owner into having a bunch whineing, selfish, bill dodging prima donnas on his site or run a tournament.

that kinda sums it up, there however will always be an argument as to which is better the woods or sup' air but it's all paintball at the end of the day, you play which you like because youy like it, some play both, personally I'm not a fan of rampaging through a wood, coupled with the fact I hate camo and olive, plus I don't get the whole mil-sim thing that is going on, woodsball just ain't my thing so I "play" sup' air
