my realy confused halo

hi guys. my halo is being a pain in the arse. it has never worked properly.
it feeds when there are balls there and stops when there is'nt and it should be the other way round. it has had a new board and new eyes and a new motor and still insists to do this. both boards and eyes and motor work in a different halo so what the hell is wrong with it?

seems like you have a backwards connection somewhere along the line, but i'm not a halo tech myself, PM cliff-in2deep, he's a bit of a hopper maniac, and he might have an idea what's going on
