so i was playing yesterday and got shot in the back while under cover, stood up and got bonus balled in the mask trying to walk to dead zone, the morons shooting me 20f away were using blaze balls, at the time the paint wiped clear off the mask aswell as my back (and back of legs when they kept bonus balling me) >.> after i got home i took my visor out to get the remaining paint from under it, and strangely the paint stained the bottom of my visor :/ i tried wiping it and soaking it for hours in hot soapy water and theres a pink highlighted edge all along the bottom.

does anyone know the best way to get it off or a i screwed?

That pink line is the edge of the antifog coating - it's not a stain. The coating ends a few millimeters from the edge and it has a pinkish tinge.

Just a word of warning you should only use water and not any other product for cleaning your lens. I fear that if you have now soaked your lens in soapy water then you may have taken the whole antifog coating off.

My advice is to always clean your lense once paint has got on it. It takes seconds to remove it from the mask and can help preserve the life of the lens.

Strange that someone was shooting blaze - do you know who they were - name & shame time?

I'll bet it isn't anymore lol. If you feel something squishy and soft coming off your lens and later find shiny fragments in your fingers...that was your antifog layer (yes, I have experience of this:eek:).

I need to find one of my lenses - Same thing happened to me. The lense has a stain in the bottom part, 1cm tall and 1 inch wide.
