I use the stock charger and one of these http://www.beststuff.co.uk/mw_mw2p045_voltage_convertor.htm

Although, I only remember paying about a fiver for mine. Do a google search and you'll find them cheaper. Maplins have them for £16.9p, bit steep there.

Works fine for me, and 2 of the others guys in our team.

Maybe if you have someone with some sort of tester to check the charger is putting out anything???

I do prefer my Neophean charger over the Bone Pack one because it has a red and green LED so you know when your done......

Surley it came with the UK converter when you bought it???? How else would the seller have charged it themselves.??

Whatever the gent used he didn't sell that on...

Mate that is exactly like the one I have from Maplins... I'm wondering if I had the charger in the wrong way or upside down.. hard to tell when you have just two pins.

I take it I won't fry myself should i get the wrong way around in the convertor?

If you could actually be a bit more specific, then I may be able to help you out a bit more.

If it is someone who recently purchased it through the group buy, then a number of the small adapter parts were incorrectly wired, and simply need switching over.

If it wasn't, and you're sure it is the universal charger (will still have an american/shaver socket fitting on it); then if you can describe the light sequence, and have checked the small external fuse; then I may also be able to help...
Sorry FISH i didn't want to name names or point the finger.

I'm sure he didn't purchase as part or your group buy.

It's the normal stok charger that comes with the bonepack ...no LEDs on it, just the US flat pins.

You didnt happen to plug the charger directly to a 240v mains outlet by accident?
If the charger has 110v input, and you did the above, you would have killed it.

No, I was about to but the good people in maplins advised that I may need a converter, at that point I knew I had seen 110v input on the charger and thus was saved from burning it out and embarrassing myself.

plug the converter in then whack the charger in that (so its not stuck out, if you put it in you'll know what I mean as one way sticks out, the other is just above the centre of the converter)) in guessing you have the charger that is just a plug with a 9v connector on the end like me, set it up like I said and should be happy days, had mine for well over a year now and runs fine everytime!

Okay so I've tried the charger in both ways for four hours out not a sniff of battery life. I also put a battery life meter on the 9v conector on the charger while plaugged in and it didn't move. Guess my charger doesn't work :(
Have now ordered a new battery and quick charger from dueydog so will see if the battery i also got second hand is any use....guess you never know it could be the US- UK converter from maplins that doesn't work, gets warm though so think its trying to do something!

OK it's not the original charger but in case you're REALLY stuck on this.

Working on the basis that these packs are very similar to the tamiya race packs you might be able to use this charger from maplin for £8.99

http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=28092&doy=27m2

this does mean you'll need to make up a connector but the bits for this are also avaialble from maplin:

http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ModuleNo=11455&doy=27m2 for a couple of quid

and a 9v snap connector for about 50p.

Bit of a fudge but it might work - I accept no responsibility if it doesn't.

Co-incidentially we had some problems with our chargers and battery connectors from the bone pack group buy, I've made a connector using the racepack connector and 9v snap connector which does appear to work.

There was no need to order another battery; all you needed to order is the International Fast Charger on its own.

I have a few left in-stock, here in the UK (that've had their adapters rewired so are ready to roll); ready to ship...

Thanks Fish but I've already placed the order, plus I can't be a 100% that the battery will work. Last thing I want to do is buy a charger only to find out the battery is crap also!
I've recently put a volt tester on the 9v connectors when plugged in and it was only reading about 2v output, have emailed dueydog to see if they can offer any advise on how o fix the charger.

How much are your chargers out of interest?

Thanks again.
