Simple :)
On the old EGOs you had a barb to take the LPR hose from the front reg mount to the solanoid. With the FRM detatchable from the body you could get access to the barb. With the 07 and 08 having a FRM being at one with the body there is no way to get to this barb unless it is added in the way of a torpedo. You can take the hosing off and then remove the barb as it has an allen key slot in the front.
Might be a confusing way to describe it but I know what I mean ;)
Hope that helps you guys :)

omg... NO WAY.

it got fractionally lighter and you wouldnt be able to tell.

ninja.

still fugly. Wake me up when something interesting comes out, like an eclipse spool - now that might get my fancy.
Pah, spoolers...since when where they the end all and be all of the paintball industry?..

For now eclipse are totally refining and absolutely sqeezing every last drop of performance out of a reliable platform that has been proven time and time again to work to perfection.

They shoot faster than spool markers, are more reliable due to less dynamic orings than spoolers, easier to fix when and if they break, more fragile on paint etc etc. the list goes on.

Yes the Sl8r might look on paper to be "slightly" better and lighter than the 8 but all the small refinements all add up to a marker that is state of the art and a true work of art.

The Sl range will and always be expensive however you pay for what you get, the milling is more expensive, they are limited edition, they are more refined, etc etc

I think it is great that some manufacturers are willing to risk developing such sophisticated markers as these. Yes the marker is pricey but I bet it is will be one of the best performing gats available.

I am a fan of the Planet Eclipse range and currently have Etek which rocks. It’s nice to know that should I want to go up the range I now have two options, the 08 and now the SL8R :)
