Right... first time i tried putting this thread up it didnt work, so really sorry if I've gone and put two up...

Got a tempory mask (a JT elite somthing) and i think the lende might be needing replacement as it has a ring of what look like mini cracks (yet still a smooth lense) as I managed to get goggled last game

And has quite a few little scratches on it, just wondering how much of a safty risk is it? now im only going to be getting my new goggles the week after the next day of paintball I have planned (being 14 and on a paper round goggles wind up pricy)

I could however get a new lense from justpaintball for a few quid but I wanted to check before throwing a few quid that I'd rather spend on paint on a new lense that i dont really need for just one day.

Thanks --James--

if i were you i would.
usualy the warning messages on goggles state that if you get shot less than 10 feet directly on your lense you should replace it.

Thanks guys, quick replys to :p

Im a little miffed about having to spend a few quid out of the funds for new goggles but then again I think my eyesight is more important wanting to join the RAF and all...

i was about too post one similar too this.

i have a pair of JT Proflex. and since last training i got gogged once from about 40 meters away and the lense has a few little cracks around the nose area.
i thought the lenses were meant too be neigh unbreakable?

Nah, i work at a paintball site and the Goggles get checked in the morning, and before every game and you would be surprised how often lenses need changing.

o and to answer your question.... yer spend the few quid and get some lenses or alternatively, if its a site that supply goggles use them.
