it was on once, years ago the program X-fire (said cross-fire) was on chanel 4

it was a team of 6 randoms agenst some minions with crap guns and a few gladiator style monsters with all the paintball tecneque of a gay bumble bee (little in joke there)

but it was crap cos after 10 min they had all been shot out and the only decent episode i saw was with some guys from the TA.

scenario paintball could work, but as said in a previous post, paintballing is a playing sport, how often have you gone down to a game just to watch? (unless your marshalling)

How could someone who doesn't play paintball follow the game?

It's not like football that you can pretty much pick up the rules and then follow like one player throughout the match, there is no way of knowing who all of the players are unless they are pointed out.

I love paintball and really want it to expand, however, I don't think TV is the right way to go.

Just compare it to other mainstream sports on TV, and you will see that it would be quite boring.
