lines on the ego display

I picked up a used 05 ego board today, and a spare with the usual dodgy display, you know when there are blank lines across the display. Well this got me thinking, so i had a little play with the ribbon that fed the display. After a fair bit of gentle coaxing i've managed to get the display full again, so don't despair guys, when this happens just gently rub the connection where the ribbon connects to the display, and you may be lucky and get it back.

My friend has this problem so I'll give his ribbon a rub and see what happens (yes that was intentional). If this works you are a certified genius. I'll report back with results to see if you've hit on something good.

be gentle and rub just to the left of the display, you'll find the places to rub will be exactly where the missing display sections are.

True, they are a major supplier in the CNG/LPG market, however; these were HPA tanks
It was the French one shown last night, production within a year, apparently.
