Okay, Traded my halo woth a vlocity this week in a deal with a gat.
Put fresh batteries in said vlocity prior to play (2x9 v DURACELL+).
empty hopper spins okay and light is green but seems to flicker:confused:
Fill hopper with paint and turn on. Light goes RED and flickers constantly:confused:
Seems to work okay on slow ROF (semi) but not convinced that it should be 'flickering' a red light.

Anyone throw any light as i'm a Vlocity virgin:cool:

Anything higher than mode 2 will eat your batteries like a b*tch (even mode 2 can be a little hungry). Infact, all you will need is mode 1 with the new BPS rates introduced, that will be nice to your batteries.

Okay so I need to locate a manual as I know sweet f.a about the modes on these hoppers:eek:

Can someone be ar$ed to explain the 'flickering light' syndrome, be it red/green or mode 1 or 2 please:D

EDIT

Forgot to mention that my mate had a vlocity today and his light was a SOLID green all day and he was unsure as to why mine was 'flickering'?!?!?

To change modes turn on the hopper, hold in the button to the left (if button is missing use a pen or something), hold it until it flashes once (the flashes will be orange). As soon as it flashes once, immediately stop holding the button. And the same for any other mode you want to set, example:8 flashes then let go = mode 8.

This will set it to mode 1. To check if its on mode 1, turn it on and put your finger over the eyes. If its in mode 1 the eyes will stop the hopper spinning, if on a higher mode it will continue to force feed but at a slower rate. If so, try and set it to mode 1 again.

When you first try to change modes, count how many times the orange light flickers, this will be the mode it was currently set on, that way you can distinguish if it was a high mode eating the batteries.

A logical answer and much appreciated. Many thanks;)

No problem at all:)

Cliff is basically the biggest hopper whore going so take notice of him and I would accept his offer on the manual if I was you;)
