Disruption trials on the 24 Feb 2008 to be held at D7s North in Manchester
Start time 9.30 am
Honesty is the best policy , So here goes I am looking for young players up to the age of 21 ,I dont want to hear the ageist card get brought out
, The Team is looking for players for the future ,We have a strong squad but looking to secure players for the future seasons.
The best way of looking at this opportunity is to call it an apprenticeship with a good team, Last year we took a few young players on and only one came through the other side ,Who will be like all the other players on the squad this year ,If he shows the ability he has,he will make the squad for the major events, all this from a player that was playing D2/D3 in the masters the year before.
The reason i am telling this little tale is the simple fact if chosen , dont think you will be stood in the start gate on a Millennium field over night , There is a lot of work involved in making the squad for the Millennium's , Like everyone else you will be given the chance to make the squad .
I dont want to be an arse, but please be realists if you live in Southampton or Aberdeen can you really cope with the travel every weekend ?? Thats what you have got to ask your self ? can i do this for the next 9 months every weekend ???
So heres the deal
You need to be able to travel to Manchester on regular basis
Be able to travel through out Europe for practice and events
Be up to the age 21
Most importantly have a sense of humor
