Seany, if you still having problems let me take a look at it from the perspective of an electronics engineer
I can test the button and see if that's gone or part of the board, and probably replace the button for a couple of quid, rather than having to buy a new board.
Only if it's out of Warranty mind, I don't want to invalidate that.

Failing that, I can probably have the button switched out pretty much overnight as I'll probably have the same type of button in stock in my workshop at home. If I don't, I can order a new part within 48 hours and have it changed quickly.
