Mini problems

right, a mates invert mini wont turn on, i dont know **** all about them so please no flaming

i think its just the on/off button that is broken as the board still flashes when pressing the 'firing mode button' on the side of the on/off button piece.

i will try and explain myself clearer if you guys dont understand me but like i said i dont know anything about the gun.

See if it will turn on with the battery cover off...

The hole which the on/off button comes out off is too small in some mini's.

The button then gets stuck against the side of the hole when the battery door is tightened.

If it does turn on without the door, try making the hole slightly bigger.

ive tried this mate, i can hear the button clicking (as though it has just been pressed) but to no effect

Ah, not good.

Try a fresh new battery, or a factory board reset.

Failing that could be a KEE job.

But get a quote, if its out of warrenty, might be better to use this as an excuse to get a virtue/tadao board

Phone them up, talk to them about it and you should be able to get it fixed free of charge. My Mini had some blowback problems and they fixed that free, and the noid socket off my eye board broke off recently and they sent me a brand new one.

I bought mine 2nd-hand so I don't have any warranty info etc.

I had a similar problem with both my mini and my halo after that horrifically wet and muddy day in utoxeter last season, I found WD40 carefully applied to the button whilst pressing it continualy for about 3 minutes worked for both, although my halo has started playing up again... Best to take the battery out whilst doing it.
