dust coating in unitech barrel?

Phone them up and get a replacement. More likely to damage it even more by trying to sort it yourself.

If im right this happened with some of the older stock Ion barrels (Linear). The dust coating went inside the end of the muzzle.

Maybe I'm being retarded, but it looks like this runs the length of the ported section of the barrel. The rest is perfect and glossy My assumption is that it's meant to be like that all the way through, but if not please someone tell me so I don't waste anyone else's time.

Sounds like it's been bead blasted again after the bore has been honed. Maybe to get a scratch out etc. If you don't cover the porting, the media will blast through it and affect the internal bore.

Although I doubt that it will negatively affect the way the barrel operates,
barrels should be smooth all the way through so, I would suggest calling them and getting a replacement.
