Grillz vs EVents - anyone used both?

(Yes, I've done a search first )

Can't decide which to get as they both have "good press".
Gonna get one or the other to replace my JT Flex 7s.
What are your opinions on them both?

Owned both and the Events didn't feel right, the Grillz are spot on however

Both are good goggles, just try them out for yourself.

stay with the flex... get some flex 08's. i haave some and love em

used both, found the events a little too high around the jaw line, and the grillz a little too open at the mouth - adavantages and disadvantages to both - borrow some and try them out and decide for yourself.

own both and find that grillz seem to stick out from your face further, might just be me, prefer my events

I've got a skinny little face, so Events work just great for me, but if I had a larger/fatter face I'd have gone with Grillz because you get a lot more protection and they don't have the nasty echo that the Events have ("LOUD NOISES!"). Grillz don't have a HUGE amount extra width, so unless you have a skinny little face and want a super-low profile I'd recommend them. Both awesome masks though.

Love my e-vents:

1. Very comfy- sometime forgot I have them on lol
2. So..so easy to change the lens- for example it could be cloudy in the morning so I put a amber lens in. Then turns sunny so I put my fire lens in.
3. Lens is a easy to clean at the end of the day- You know how you get some paint under the edges of the lens. Easy enough to pop the lens out clean and your sorted.

I did have some Flex 8's but found the e-vents to be a lot better.

Devrij: Whats this echo you talking about lol Never had any problems with mine and my team has always been able to hear me shout while playing.

depends on your face shape, i found the events comfy with a great view through lense, however they leave the neck and chin area a little to open, and I found they squashed my nose a bit (i have a big conk).
The Grillzs were just as comfy if a little rigid and as mentioned if you got one in the kisser, prepare for bust lips and eating paint.
