It does sounds like your burst disc. You can get them for about £3 - £5 depending on where you buy them from. Let all the air out of your bottle, put the bottle on your gun and dry fire it until it runs out of air, once your gun wont fire any more take the bottle off and press down the little valve on top of reg to make sure all the air is out. It should be relatively easy to push down, if it does'nt the bottle still has too much pressure in it. Unscrew old burst disc and replace with a new one. Make a note of what pressure the burst disc is so you get the correct replacement and screw it back on making sure it's screwed in tight.
Hope this helps. If your not confident doing it yourself get someone who knows what there doing, watch them, and at least you'll know what to do next time :)

There has been no 'incident' as such whereby my burst disc has gone 'bang'. I've had the bottle a little while now and used it several times with no probs. I played all day yesterday using this bottle without any problems. Its a 4500k 1.1 bottle and Hp crossfire reg. It was 'slow filled' all day yesterday to 3000psi without incident.
The 'leak' only came to light when I got my kit out to clean it this morning and found that only half of the 3000psi of air i filled it with was left:eek:
So following lumps advice I dunked it in water and found a leak in the gold 'burst disc' (as james kindly pointed out for me;)).

As for replacing it, I will take it to my local pro shop and get them to do it and show me the 'do's & don'ts' at the same time. Its no big issue, just a pain in the ar$e as I had planned on fine tuning my set up today and have little to no air to do it with:rolleyes:

Thanks for the advice chaps:)

Cheers so new gauge is needed damn lol Would it be advised to do this myself or to get it done by a pro?
Did quite easily by myself. make sure it defiantly empty, then take old one off with adjustable spanner. then apply pfte tape/locktite onto new one then screw that one in till it tight. Changing lightbults is harder;)
