hello, has anybody got any ideas on how i could remove my reg.
i held the reg as hard is i could but my hand just slips.
so dose anyone know how i could get it of?

Rubber glove.

ill try that but what im saying is that the reg has a rubber cover on it and thats the only thing to hold on to, but no matter how tight i hold it the rubber slips around the reg.

pull the rubber cover off then do it

or just use a starp wrench

word, cover off, bit of muscle and bam! reg off

won't get the cover off with the reg on.....

wind the reg adjuster fully anticlockwise, then keep going....

you may then need to use a bit of force to get the reg adjuster to turn clockwise again....but ti works - lost track of how often i've done this servicing folks regs.....the trick is not to put it on over tight in the first place...

ok ill try what you guys said, oh and rider in black what you said sounds good but this will be the first ime if taken the reg of so i havnt tightened it that tight.
