LPR on PM

I have a used PM6 and need some advice on setting up the LPR.

I'm advised that adjusting this can make the marker kinder to paint, and the previous owner wound it out a couple of turns to do just this.

Using Draxxus Blaze the marker performs great. Using Draxxus Rec-Sport I get the odd barrel break. Can't help but feel a tweak here and there might help.

Dwell is currently set 5 clicks higher than stock cos of cold weather. Gun has has a top hat mod (electricians tape), and I use a freak kit for good paint to bore match. Recently tech'd by a Due gun-tech.

Anyone offer some advice?

Have you lowered your LPR at all?

afaik, you need to up the dwell and lower the lpr to help with cold weather.

(sneaky edit after i wiped the crap out my eyes )

I dont know about the LPR, but Id bet that wont be the problem. Unless its been messed with significantly since it was last teched.

Have you tried using a straight (no step) loose bore barrel instead of the freak?

You may be surprised at the difference.
Hmmm..... will have to try this..... I'm sure someone can lend me one at the next day I go to.

each turn is 15psi and it's stock value is 75 psi so i'm told not sure if this helps but thats my 2pence worth.
