just a quick one for you all about dwell, if you replace a stock board with a aftermarket one are the dwell settings the same ie if it is say 16 on stock will it still be 16 on the aftermarket board or are there any differences cheers for any replys/info cheers trigg:)

You will have to check with the manufacture of the board.
When i changed the stocked board in my old G7 fly to a Lucky board, i had to turn the dwell up to 15/16 compared to the stock of 10.

Some after market boards is different of how much current runs to the noid from the board.

example very simplified...(figures are for making it easier for those who dont understand)

Dwell on stock board @ 9 = current of 9
Dwell on after market board @ 9 = current of 5

In order to get the dwell same on after market board as the stock setting( in the above example), you will need to knock up the dwell to get the same current from the board to the noid.
