Circumstances change dont they? They probably had no idea it was gonna get locked, and to be honest this is completely irrelevent to the thread which happens to be about the millenniums series extorting european paintballers. Paintball will never be free with these sort of costs :p

AS shown from someones calculations, it is the entry ("license") and travel costs that euqate to the majority of balance sheet for playing the millenium series, so its largely irrelevent whether or not the Div 1 was locked at the time.

Also, the guy playing for the financially backed ("free") team saying "sod the millenium" isnt exacly promoting his "sponsors" too well.

I use most of the terms here loosely, hence the " " signs...

I dont see him representing any sponsors in any way do you?

What i find amazing is why the millennium are compelled to charge £2225 to transfer another team into an existing teams place, i dont know the ins and outs of this procedure and i supose only the millennium will have the answer to what is so challenging about transfering teams.

Travel is a nessecary evil we have to do it and from what i found last season it can be made cost effective.

Freddie outlined in this thread or another one in relation to this that the 'license fee' has increase 12% i will reserve my judgement on this until the end of the season to see if it was worth them charging us more becuase in return i expect all events to be at least the standard of Toulose or Paris.

I dont know if im correct in saying that SPL entry and Div1 entry fees are the same but if so will there be any diference in the prize fund?
avoid costs and keep that previous teams name. buy the spot, dont let the millenium board know. simple.

as far as the rest im not arsed
