Okay, looked but couldn't find a relevant thread, so apologies if this has been posted before!

Every time I wash my kit the mud seems to stain it. It's really pissing me off as I just got some nice new etek pants and they now have brown camo instead of urban camo:mad: Same for the jerseys. Thought maybe it was clay staining it, but it happens no matter where the mud comes from. Washing to manufacturers recommendation and always right after getting home, so no idea where I'm going wrong. Few more slides and my gear is gonna look like ****. Anyone help me out here?

The manufacturers say to hand wash, personally i put it on a delicate wash in the washing machine and i know a team member puts it on a 40oc and has no probs.

When i get in from a days paintballing i use the outdoor tap and hose the majority off my kit then just put it in the washer with half a dose of washing powder and NO SOFTENER!!

I dont know if the softener that takes the laels off but i know it did do it to toon tops about 2 seasons ago so choose not to use it.

Cant say as a garentee this wont knck your kit but it has never bucked mine or atleast another 4 from my team.

Hope it helps :D

the likes of oxi stuff shud work coz its only oxygen bubbles and nothing that shriks or screws up stuff, just dont try kettle water and you shud be fine!

Have you tried the washing machine? i think its only the playing pants that say hand wash only but like i said before i havent had any bother :D

what i do, even wear boots in shower best way to clean them.
I find it more annoying that items fray in the wash, chuck em in an old pillow case when u wash them and gotten rid of most of the mud. mummy knows best

Orrrr, you could just all be normal and accept that getting dirty is part of paintball, and that that kit is never going to look brand new again

Personally I wash my kit once every 5 or so times I use it; makes it look like I play that way ;)

Stains are agg :) :p

I generally lack common sense and stick all my gear in the washing machine (hose it down outside if extra dirty) and stick it on a 30 degree wash with washing powder and a scoop of vanish.... not had any problems yet :D

It's Dye and Evil playing gear ive got, Dye stuff frayed a little around the seams but that seems to be a common thing with the 07 range, nothing a little singe with a lighter flame can't fix ;)
