Just breaking my mate's PC (he's emigrated to NZ)

He had an AWESOME setup, I know because I'm using the exact same spec machine now, primarily for gaming (without having to worry about lowering graphics settings etc - all on FULL).
All parts are approximately 4 months old and boxed.

im a bit of a noob when it comes to computers. at the moment when i run dxdiag it says i have AMD athlon 1.3 ghz.

cos that proccessor is amd does that mean i can stick it straight in?

I doubt it to be honest mate, your AMD athlon 1.3 ghz chip will probably be a, socket F fitting , the one for sale is a AM2 socket, so you'd need a AM2 socket motherboard to put the chip in , hope this helps
