Anyone give me some info on the Evil omen

Hey all

I remember when these first came out but didn't have much to do with them, now one of the lads in the club has managed to pick up a full setup with an Omen.

Any problems with them, anything i should be looking for. had a quick read up and noticed they were closed bolt and seen they have a beaver tail...anything like a cocker?

any info would be great

There magic guns.

You use a 0.50 hex key in the small nut on the left hand side to set the recock pressure. You back it out (or in I can't remember) then increase it by quarter turns till the gun starts to recock then a wee bit for luck and chrono. So its much easier to setup than a cocker, you press the quick release bolt in the back and the entire moving parts come out as one.

It has no ball detents or eyes but uses a cam arm system to feed the balls hence the offest feedneck.

If it has the 1.5 upgrades it has a better board (bouncy), cam arms (you can't use a force fed without 1.5 cams) and feedneck.

The evil det reg is great and they are mean machines. Mine was great fun

seems strange if you ask me, so Bob is it chronoed thru the inline reg or thru this recock bolt on the left? Its jus this guy will probably expect me to show him the ins and out of it

Pretty much, your basicaly aiming to set the recock pressure as low as possible. I used to get it to recock, chrono then double check the recock.

btw the recock nut thing has to be done each time you use the marker, its pretty easy but remember a spare 0.50 hex.

yeah i think i get it,set to jus cocker and give a quarter turn for luck.

i have one and they are great, you only really have to get used to them
