Ok, this isn't a major problem but is a bit annoying. About a month ago my halo started to make "clunking" noises when it was spinning. This problem still persists after installing the magna kit, so i presume it's something to do with the motor/pulley system.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

firstly which metal plate are you using....?

it may be that your clutch disengages to early...a sign for this would be that when your loader is full (and if your using a reloader b) the rip drive will turn when you just bounce the loader ..anything other than that ....welll dont just leave it ....play, tinker ..WORK IT OUT...!

peace and love

Mine does it,I've tried a new motor still the same.
Strip it apart and see if it does it with the board, batteries and motor apart from the body.
I replaced the board cause it was fkt and I put a new motor in...still doing it..I've stopped worry about it TBH,still got the reliable egg in my satchel.

Tends to be caused by drivecone allignment in the raceway. Hence why I mentioned.

M8 exactly the same as 2 I have here.
I think there a 2 issues with them.
1 the motor pulses(tm) which causes the whir and secondly I think the central shaft bearings may be a bit worn hence the sudden "new" clunk.
I have 2 Halo's here plus 1(nearly new by the looks of it)I had access to and I tried whilst I was away from the forum earlier, also a brand new motor.
I stripped my Halo out again because the post bugged me:eek:.
Now,the new motor and the "new-looking" Halo have the motor pulse/whir,but the other 2 have the whir and the clunk, and more movement in the rip drive shafts.
The shaft runs 2 bearings, quite possibly the bearings are a little worn.
Don't worry..(or sell it to me cheap as it's fkt...£15:rolleyes:;):D)...:D
