Ok, can somebody recommend me the best paintballs for walkons/proper use and the best for simply practicing/shooting at things in the garden!

All I want from the latter is paint that is fairly consistent and doesn't break much, and can you also tell me the best (cheapest!) place to get both of the types of ball from.

Thanks,

and thats the end of the simple questions from me.

this is a bit a of a general question mate

considering a fair amount of sites insist you use their paint.. the words beggars cant be choosers comes to mind

however if your site is BYO (Usually a fee applies to do so) i would aim to get Draxxus Blaze, reason being is for the 6 years ive been playing i don't think ive found a bad box, its not overly priced and has a good fill and shell providing its been stored right.

RPS Advantage has been showing up again recently and thats another brand which is consistently good for the price. your only doing walk ons so a top end ball isn't really needed. if it come out your gun, straight and breaks what else do you need.

A better question would be which paint NOT to use. Then you can just steer clear of that.

I wouldn't use blaze at the moment, frostbite would be a better choice until the weather starts to warm up a bit then switch back to the blaze always found these to be good brands, retails on eaither is between £25-30 a box though you can get it cheaper the more boxes you buy.
I've been using sterling rec and rec/ice for the past couple of games and have found this to be perfectly acceptable as well.

You have to be aware that same brand paint can vary from batch to batch and correct storage is vital.

For instance I used some proto a few months ago - shot fine, went through a box with no breaks, a couple of weeks later, same gun, same settings even similar weather and I was shooting soup.

Walk-ons don't count as playing paintball?
