ego reg position question

just needed some advise about my reg on ego 06. Is it ok to have the reg loose like half a turn to accomadate more space /angle for the macroline. By this i mean planet have the macroline pushing the reg turning in 6pm position (postion assume marker is pointing at 12 position away from you) if you know what i mean. However i find that restricts finger space. I would prefer it slightly out. like half a turn.

If you think half a turn is ok/good? then what part of the reg should i use the half turn to gain the angle ie turn the top part of the reg where it joins the body or use the lower part of the hpr where it joins the longer reg barrel part? When i need to say gain an angle assume the macroline fits into the reg say 6pm marker facing away from you and i would prefer the macroline fitting in say 8pm on the clock face.

hope anyone can help out?

damm bob

that a good tip. so effectively shorting the lenght of screw in effect. Very good tip bob will try it tx.:)

====mmmm will that affect the internal pressure in any way. I mean half a turn out might affect the reg pressure?

regarding strangers comment it moves. Once its gased up nothing moves am guessing pressure holds everything in place including the gas bottle.

It wouldn't be a full half turn, the o-ring would only cause approx a 2mm extension of the reg. If you check the inside of the FRM there is alot of room to work with and the reg will still have a perfect seal. I've done this on other guns before and it works great. :)

if it is partly unscrewed then it is more likly to come fully unscrewed by accident. Using an o-ring doesn't cause this potential problem.
