I posted a similar question when I got my ego last season...

http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=79091

Some good tips in that thread

My own Ego has evolved since last posting there. Dabbled with a Virtue board before going back to standard, and finally going for a Tadao M7. Much prefer the trigger feel on the micro switch, and the Tadao has some great settings options. As for the gun itself... now set at 10ms dwell as I got too much FSDO at 9ms, plus the consistency over chrono wasn't as good. The LPR is set at 1.5 turns in from flush. It's also had a good strip, clean and re-lube on all the regs & fitted a cure bolt. Consistency is spot on with good paint, and it hasn't chopped a single ball since I've had it. I think it's gotta be the most reliable and easy to maintain gun I've ever owned, and the best £200 I've spent in years.

If this was PBN - I'd now start raving about the gun shooting ropes, darts, lazer beams & mowing faces etc... what a load of Bollox

I built your Ego, Geo
In my opinion i would leave it set to default. Not wanting to sound like i know everything about Egos but messing with the settings when you dont know what your doing can open up a can of worms. I have seen lots of guns that are horribly set up from listening to advice from forums. Beleive me if it isnt broke you know the rest:)
