Also as someone else said drum your fingers to build up muscle in them so you can fire quicker helps.
Your weaker hand will always probely always be a bit weaker even with practise such as it may be a bit slower or your reflexs are not as good. Although this may not always be true for some pro teams.

Good start with what your doing already...
Try putting and elastic band round your left hand's first two fingers- until you feel a bit of resistance.
Eventually you'll strain and feel a your fingers gettin weak and carrying on through this weakness is what makes the stamina and strength for when you actually play.
Whenever your sat watchin tv , traveling... whatever. When you get bored or you finished leave it on ya wrist
