Practice makes perfect, so what you're doing now in you're room is a good start. There's also the old trick of tapping anything with either fingers to get them used to shooting the trigger; tables etc (can get annoying though! )

If you have a team or are training with a team, get there early and practice snapshooting with your off hand. Helped me anyway.

I did this and now can play left handed, do everything you usually do with your right hand but with your left. Such as drinking. Talk on your phone left handed. Change the channel with your left hand. Doodle with your left hand.
