co2 needs to be "cooled" any ways before filling and to make sure you putting the right amount in you drain them to start with from what i have been reading, not sure why you should leave a air bottle totally unfilled tho? presumably is so there is always a 'out force' anyone know why?

If it's a stako it should have some air in it all the time. According to stako, that was what was causing the problems with them.
