Easier to walk
More comfortable
Nice screen

I prefer the ego7 to the etek much more. Prefer the trigger, and the thinness of the ego, and the more 'natural' feeling of holding it.

Like i said, FORGET facts and figures. They can only tell you so much and dont take into account the "real" world as it were.

trying both markers goes without saying, but obviously on this occasion i dont have that facility hence me asking on these forumns.

Anyway, thanks to all those with useful input, much appreciated. Think i have come to my conclusions.

Yeah....

I was kinda wondering really...I mean, Eclipse have a certain reputation...so, bearing that in mind (he didn't buy an Eclipse product, because he heard they have a BAD reputation, did he?)....would it not be quite obvious, which is better?

It's a bit different saying 07 or 08, but 07 or E-Tek?

If he wanted to know the difference, then simply asking the difference, or even better, searching for the difference, would have been far less...well...dumb, to be honest...not wanting to offend, but then again, do I give a fcuk?
