nope. I've not done that. It's just started leaking out of the back. No visable damage.

when i took it all to bit's their appear to be a small hole at the back of the solenoid is this correct ? should their not be something blocking this ?

I had a similar problem with my 05, degas it, remove the ram cap and the rammer and check / replace the 2 rammer 'o' rings

Done the oring and it's an 05 model.

Is the leak definitely from the solenoid? or just the area, Rear Q.E.V possibly

Use some spit, or washing up liquid, CAREFULLY located with a straw to locate the leak.

Also, it could be the Noid venting from overpressure.

If its an 05 or 06, then you can clean and lube the piston thingy in the noid, if your brave enough
