Bottle Reg O ring question

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the o ring on regs (the internal one that holds bottle and reg together whilst pressurized) is a standard size on all regs?Obvious follow up question (if answer is yes) is what size is this?

not always, the oring depends on whether your bottle has a deep chamfer or a shallow chamfer on the opening. As for size, i don't know but contact HPAC, their number can be found at www.hpac.co.uk and they will be able to tell you

The smaller one is an 015, can't remember the bigger one.

Dunno if it'll help but when mine split, I dug a similar one out of my ion spares kit and it worked like a charm, so they must be pretty widely used in that size for various purposes

We're on about the seal between the bottle and reg, rather than the one on the end of the reg.

They are a bit fatter normally...I chnaged teh one on my Stako coz it was leaking around the neck...pretty sure it was either an Ego or Shocker o-ring that I used.

Did the job though.

Was about 15mm across and 3mm thick.
