i've bought gat's through pay-pal, not had any issues at all., then again i never read into the law behind it!! haha, remember a paintball marker is not a fire-arm so to speak in terms of the law.

If the marker is used incorrectly or to inflict injury it IS termed a firearm!

Paintball gats with compressed air/C02 are classefied as an air weapon and come under the same laws are air rifles. Balloonguys is quite right ..

if they were the same as air weapons you couldn't mail order them
