Locked up 08 reg

And I thought I got away with no problems...

Just got home from a days play at NQ and tried to clean my 08 ego and could not dissassemble the regulator The problem is that the swivel part which you usually turn along with the bit underneath it to uncrew the reg and open it up, well thats where the problem is.

I tried gripping the small section below the swivel but can't seem to grip it enough to be able to turn it and it seems locked in place.

Anyone got any advice on this matter as i'm stuck

Nope, never had to usually.

Its the little part below the swivel section that I cant rotate

Hold the body above the swivel (if you need to use grips wrap a bit of old inner tube around it first) and use a big allen key in the bottom. Turn it and there you go

get a fine hack saw blade and cut it all round to see if it comes away in your hand NOT



have you tryed a little gun oil and leave it overnight, just the cold and stuff, ego's are well built

Will dig around in the garage for an allen key big enough for the bottom as the ones that came with it are too small

It got covered in $hit today and I got a few large changes in velocity when i chrono'd (same paint all day) and just want to check the reg

I would try a few drops of oil in the asa, dry fire 20 or so times, might sort it out.

Consistancy will be crap while the marker beds in. Shoot 10 cases through it and all will be good.
