Some Advice

Hi eveyone!

I am new to paintball and i would like a bit of advice. Just to start off with, i live in Lincolnshire (near Lincoln) and have been very keen to start playing speedball. I went with NK and watched them play at the Masters up at Lincoln and just got hooked and wanted to play!

I have now played some paintball and I would like take it a step further, playing some speedball and the greatest thing would be to get in a team!!

The advice i would like, is

1) What would be the best way to start playing Speedball?
2) When shoud I start looking to buy my own kit? Cus i know if i keep on renting stuff out its gonna be cheaper in the long run to get my own.

Best way to start playing well if you have done a few games and think you'll want to play more then think about getting your own kit (2nd hand off here is the best bet)

As for speedball, see if there are any sites local to you that will allow you to use you own kit (if you have it) and see if they run that game scenario, also get in touch with any local teams for advice, guidance maybe even get in on a training day with them....

*defently get your own kit ..even if its a cheep setup .. i started off with an a-5 and now ive moves up to ego's
*play alot more paintball

Yeah there are two places near me, Ancaster and Combat Zone Lincoln but not sure if you can use your own kit...

I think it will be best to buy my own kit, because i may have quite a bit of money but i could see it all gone if i keep renting I think i might be looking at like an Ego 05, relatively cheap and appears to be good from what people have said.

About the teams, i will have a look to see if there are any near me, but i do have a friend who plays for Notorious Kids (Spanky) but I dont think i have any chance to get down to D7's and train there with them (way over my head i think!!).
