sorry mate house went on the market before the hips pack came in to effect, but its compulsary for every property by jan whether its been on the market prior to this........... as i understand anyway???if what hasnt gone ?

Whats the crack, Lump? I'm currently selling my house (wrong time of year I know). might not be a good thing to take it off the market all together as you may need a to update your old pack whereas your existing pack is valid for 12 months

Properties that are genuinely on the market before the commencement date (i.e. 1 August for sales of homes with four or more bedrooms) will not need a Pack. This exemption will apply for as long as marketing continues but the Government may appoint a date at which all properties on the market will be subject to the HIP duties, regardless of when they were first marketed.
