Hi Guys
Just a little information for you all, I hope this fills in a few blanks.
Yes, the trigger is 'stiffer', the spring is compressed into a smaller space than on the other guns, thus placing it under more tension. I'm sure most will remove it/ cut it down etc...
As for rates of fire, the SLG is our fastest cycling gun. There is no manual activation of the sear. The trigger activates a microswitch, just like all our other markers. This is by no means a non-electro marker with an electro board, this was designed as an electronically operated gun from the start. We just chose not to use a solenoid-valve like on our other markers.
The FRM itself is part of the body of the gun, unlike the PMR, so there would be no reason for that portion of the body to simply break. If, however you are referring to the threaded section of the Hyper3 appearing quite thin and liable to snap at the neck of the reg, then I can assure you the Hyper3 is very well built, and many different designs for the thread were tested. The one selected gave the best possible strength, whilst still allowing us to make the front of the gun smaller and less bulky.
There is no other difference between the DM Hyper3 and the Hyper3 on the M8 and SLG. They have exactly the same internals, they were simply styled differently for the DYE and Proto markers.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask, on here, or PM me!
Thanks
