UK in the title.

Is this really necessary, i know it's a rule but wouldn't it be more sensible to revise the rule so that if you're outside the uk you include the country you're selling from, rather than the millions of uk sellers that have to take up bandwith including "uk" in their sale.

I agree typing "uk" isn't difficult, but when threads are started in the classifieds and the poster forgets to put it in, you get the half a dozen posts pointing out the error before the mods get chance to remove it. Then the guy opens a new thread asking why the original thread has been removed, and you get the same half a dozen posts telling him he should have put "uk" in the title.
I've just looked back through the last 6 pages in the for sale section and only one has not got "uk", it's got "eng".

Surely this rule is getting a bit redundant, and causing more hassle than it's worth.

which if people didn't stupid things in (granted mine says Birmingham...its s**t) but at least everyone knows im a brummie and that my item will be coming from the UK.

and to be fair the only non uk items i rember were a few "eu" or "europe" and a scandinavian item, all of which then had in the thread "will happily ship to uk"

i agree. i dont mind typing UK but when people forget then get moaned at by a mod for it like theyve broken some kinda law. QUICK.. RING THE FUN POLICE...

We've had this argument loads of times. It all ends in buddha coming in, getting angry, shouting and then everyone having to put UK in the title. I think its his lil baby
