As seen in classifieds, got my grubby mits on a old skool automag from a friend. Actually took possesion of it yesterday and it has a leak from the macro line. I gassed it up and found the source of the leak, went to try and remove the macroline and it snapped:eek::rolleyes:

Now I am the least tech headed person in the world but I found a braided macroline looking type thing in the bag with the gat

My question is quite simple......how the feck do I fit it:confused::)
The elbow joint near the expansion chamber is solid so If I try unscrew it will it need locktite?
Same question for the on/off end:confused:

Have this gat pretty much ready to ship out but would prefer to get this sorted before it goes.

Any help appreciated.

Braided hose will work fine - but you'll need a new elbow on the 3.5oz bottle valve (remove the macro one, fit a std elbow). and remove the macro fitting from the red dump valve.

The 90deg elbow (fixed) here is the kinda thing you need:

Cheers for that m8:)

I had a p.m from a chap on here saying that the macroline that is on this gat is the wrong one:confused: does it need to be a certain size????

I get the whole elbow thing, just wanna make sure that I get the right macroline aswell. Is it standard or different sizes??

That white stuff is Micro Line, smaller than Macro line, so yes, change the elbow on the anti liquid valve (foregrip) and you also need to take the fitting out of the slide check (red slidy thing) and replace it with a straight macroline fitting, so you can then connect the two bits together.

Dont use PTFE unless you have to, Loctite is best.
